the accordian thing in the middle is so they can expand and contract without cracking...u have to plug the egr bungs but other than that they work great and polish out to a near mirror finish..then clearcoat them and mud just hoses off!

Never heard of aluminum headers... :screwy:
 
Mobile homes have axles but do not have engines... Motor homes have engines. Your pic shows stainless steel exhaust manifolds used on 454-7.4 CK-30 or P30 application. The "bung holes" are for the A.I.R. pipes not EGR. As far as clear coating them so you can hose the mud right off... I don't care who ya are , thats funny right there !!
 
I didnt feel like reading three pages so this might be a repeat.

I bought a crate replacment motor from my 94 gmc last year. It was about 2k out the door. I did the install. I was also given a discount on any parts I needed for the swap. They told me that the 3yr/36000 mile warranty was good no matter who installed it. Although it was mentioned that if there was an issue with the install then I would be responsible for the cost. Was also told I can go to any dealership with issues.
