getting dyno'd tuesday,any bets?

comp roller,not 100% positive on duration,but when i bought the truck there were two cam cards,and since the truck sounds rowdy'r im guessing its the larger cam ,which specs out to a comp XE 284
1.7 roller rockers,2 inch primarie headers,3.5 inch true dual exhaust into flowmaster 10 series race mufflers,then dumps right in front of the rear tires
full MSD ignition,dist,cap,rotor,wires

right now im having a few rather serious tuning issues,and cant seem to tune around them,and im tired of tracing it down,so this coming weds i purchased 3 hours dyno time to get it straightened out.

heres what the dyno guy wants to do.

5 full pulls,and wideband 02 monitoring at just about every speed/rpm

i also get a full 1/4 mile run on the dyno,as well as a 4wd dyno run,see how much hp im losing through the drivetrain :haha:
 
I will just throw out a number of about say 550 to 560 hp ans say 530 to to 570 lbs torque, just a guess. :D

oh, and thats about 1.2/1.3 hp per cubic inch.
 
well,its not gonna make crpa unless we get the tuning **** fixed first,which is first order of buisness,then after that im sure we'll start doing the full pwoer pulls.

right now the way its running id say 250 hp lmao but damn does it sound good! hahah
 
im going to shot more realistically and assuming your running big tires like 99% of ppl here... 420/430 mebbe
 
I say 340 hp and 440 tq at the rear wheels. This is RWHP we're talking about not flywheel right?

yes this is rwhp and all wheel HP when i do the dyno run in 4wd

and yeah im running large tires ,36" buckshot mudders

the paperwork on the motor from the previous owner claims 10.5 to 1,and i beleive it,ANYTHING less then premium and it will ping
 
im not 100% sure,but its a mustang dyno,so im going to guess corrected. i may be wrong though

oh,man with the holiday and **** i forgot about posting the results lol,i havent even taken the vids off the camera or the pics

anyways, in 2wd i put down 419rwhp and 501 tq

with a 75 shot of juice on the barry grant single stage nitrous plate,it put down 499 hp and 622 tq.


i never tried it in 4wd,aparently the balance was off on the buckshots amd the dyno guy didnt like the vibes from 40mph+ wierd though because it doesnt vibrate goin down the hiway :shrug:,ive been concentrating on work,and racing r/c touring cars on the weekends,ill try and get the vids up this weekend.
 
the msd box was actually causing the problem,it was kicking in the soft touch rev control at all rpms. he threw on his personal 6al box from his 71 camaro,and it ran great,so i just bought a new one from the shop next door.

my jetting was a little bit off,but not bad for just tuning it by ear/drive hell i didnt even time the thing with a light,just by sight and sound LOL.
