Getting hydro assist

After fubaring a rebuilt box I would have to suggest just getting the EMS cap and tapping the top of the box. Hoses and ram and your done.

81JimmySLT offers a RockLogic kit with the EMS caps for a little over $300. :thumb:

Need a list of everything ill need please :) Wanna order it all at once.

AGR Performance has a kit for your rig. I owned one for my Powerstroke and it worked great! Steered like a Caddy; gearbox on driver side, ram on passenger side working together.

I run the westtexasoffroad 2wd steering box that is ported for hydro assist, and a PSC ram. I would personally go with the PSC because of the bigger fittings for more flow, the heims are much larger and has a male end on the body side, and female on the ram side(much stronger). PSC also sells hose kits for a good price.

Instead of porting the 2wd box, i would get the www.jkwoffroad.com steering box end that is already ported for hydro, all you got to do is tap the top lid yourself or send it to JKW with 10 bucks and he will tap it for you. using the pre-tapped ends on the box is easier if you break a fitting or the box goes out...

Also, install a tranny cooler as your powersteering cooler to add to fluid capacity. No need to extend the filler neck like many have done. Just put the cooler on your low pressure side, and you will have plenty of fluid to run the ram.

ill be sure to let ya know what i think and ill take pics of the set up when its done.
