Well i need two things to pass. First is my exhaust. I need to have it exit from underneath the truck, but since i did my lift with the shackle flip i had to cut the pipes off and never got new ones made. Thats no big deal.

The problem im having is my ebrake. I swapped a 14b in and have not really seen a way to get it to work. Even worse is that im going to convert to disc and have heard that theres no long term success with disc/ebrakes. Anyone have any other solutions that i could use as an ebrake just to pass inspection?

Im just about ready to buy a fake sticker

if your going to go with rear disks , just get calipers from an eldorado , they have an e-brake that is cable operated. This way you can just use your existing ( provided they still exist ) e-brake cables. If that doesn't work...... give-em ouzo. Good luck.

how about some more details on why your e-brake cables do not work. is it just the length that does not work? I got a cable from a longbed and shortened it to work on my lifted shortbed.

You can make drop brackets to lower/fit the stock cables, id get the inspection done with drums, then convert to disc later. I know a guy in N.Y. that just puts the drums and e-brake back on just for inspection, big pita, but you have to pass to drive it around.

sorry its taken me so long to respond but i believe the problem deals with the cable being too short.
