Getting ready for BB

If the new winch bumper arrives in time:
paint & install it
install winch with 2nd battery

Also:
tighten valve cover and oil pan bolts
gease gun and torque wrench underneath
give the truck it's once a year bath & general cleaning

Done:
motor oil & filter changes
diffs
bearings & hubs

New this year::D
Tuff Country front leaf springs
ORD high steer/cross-over
Reid Racing knuckles/ball joints
DIY4x tube doors
PSC ported steering box
PS pump (stock)

Ran out of time for hydro assist and TBI:doah:
 
Right now working on the wifes and kids car for the off to college trip, after the 23rd its hammer time on the jimmy.

Fluids, filter change, put horn button back on, wire new CB and test, rotate tires, Plugs and wires, replace snap on safari top, padding back on cage and on and on

what about my truck i dont have a blazer anymore i have gone to the dark side i have an xj we might be there for the bbq or a couple days but not lookin promising if i ever make back to bb is doubtful at this point.
 
I am trying to get my brother to take his stock 46 cj2a. He has pictures of it going up the escalator. Made it first attempt. But he is intimidated by the blazers.

No worries im not going to the jeep side completely they smell funny and have worse attitudes than i do lol. Besides i still have an 89 burb.
 
the k5 is beat.. after further review just replacing a broken hub turned into replacing a moly stubb shaft which turned into dang need new ball joints which turned into why in the**** is my passenger rotor not coming off which turned into i need a bigger hammer ,new spindle ,rotor,and stage 8 fastener... oh and i need to weld on my steering stabilizer mount to the tie rod bc i broke a bolt...... but the winch works great.. i dont think ill be able to just trow money at it to fix it for a while.. im so tired of working on that truck i just want to wheel it.

Yea, come on out anyway. I didn't get harassed that bad the time I had a jeep. It was even kinda nice wheelin with AC and satellite radio. I may even have an extra seat or two.
 
I could post up my list of to do items, Long, drawn out and boring.

Truck in jail - ahem, storage.

Parked it there after coming back from CruiseMoab in early May.
Other obligations prevented further trips to AZ this summer.
Well, the summer weather in AZ is hard on tarps... and the left rear has no air any longer :frown1:
Earliest I can get to the truck is Labor Day.
Claudia says it runs fine, but looks like an abandoned vehicle... :laugh:

But it looks like I can get a covered spot starting September... :pimp:
