Hey guys, slowly gathering parts for my 3/4 ton axle swap on my M1009. I searched for the conversion U-joint and I found a NAPA part number 447, is that what you guys are using? Also, the 14bff I bought has a disc brake setup on it but no brake lines. I would like to just use off the shelf rubber lines (to lower the cost of this project) I read somewhere about using chevette lines, is this possible? Or does anyone have a part number? I will double check, but I'm pretty sure the calipers that are on the axle have the 10mm banjo bolts.

Thanks

The 447 is the one. Be careful where you put the grease zirk. My dumbass placed it in a way that I couldn't fit any type of fitting over it. Not sure on the brake lines though. Find out for sure what type of fitting it is first. There is a standard (7/16?) and the metric one. From there you can find your options.

The grease zerk should be pointing to the engine of the truck. As the bottom of the driveshaft is the only spot where the angle allows a gun in there to grease the fitting. So if its pointing towards the axle housing you wont be able to get anything in there besides maybe a needle greaser, and them suck. Been there done that.
