i picked up a set of aluminum valve covers on trade and they had some stupid Nova emblems super glued to them, i pried them off but the super glue is still on there, does anyone know how to get this crap off? and what is the best way to polish them up? they are a bit dull. thanks

When you do get the glue off, try a Mothers buffing wheel, and their compound.

Acetone (finger nail polish remover) or brake parts cleaner (kinda harsh) will get the super glue off there. Can't help you with the polishing of aluminum.
