Getting There

Never been to a Blazer Bash. I've always wanted to go to Moab and I couldn't imagine a better group to go with. I want to sign up but I'm concerned about getting out there. I'm in So. California and it's about a 14-15 hour drive that I'm not sure if the ole rig would be too happy w/ making. Plus I'm not currently geared for the highway. It would appear that I'm the only one of my close buddies w/ any interest in wheelin'. So hitching a tow is gonna be tough. Anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry this thread has been hyjacked it is now about broken trucks and baja driving.

You can look into a caravan with a few rigs towed and a few driven. I know guys get together in a group of three or four rigs with only two trailers and take turns driving the trail rigs. Each rig only has to make half of the trip and if one gets way broken then they get the trailer ride full time.

Brilliant. On the way back from CO my Bro's trailer broke down, some guys with a Gooseneck and a buggy on it stopped and took his K10 into Vegas and hooked us up @ the motel they were staying at. It's nice to have people to help trailer.
