Has anyone given these a try in their rig ?
I used Sanderson cc17 on mine. You can order them directly from Sanderson and get the port and plug configuration
They land roughly in the same spot as the factory manifolds, no interference
I’ll check them out I really like these ones was hoping somebody is running them without issue and they are drilled and tapped for the o2 already
Theres lots of room under the hood of a square, especially with a small block. Can't use a reason they wouldn't work.
It’s the distance between the motor and the frame that makes it tight.
I think his point is there’s tons of room in that area for a sbc, no reason any company can’t get it right.
That said, in my opinion, good headers made for your truck shouldn’t require modifications.
Besides the clearance concern I would also be interested to see where the flanges end up in relation to your links.
High and tight I hope lol
i used chevelle headers when I swapped an 84 I had to big block, even then had plenty of room. Only issue I ran into was the slave cylinder, I had to shim it way out cause one of the primaries was in the way. The collector was above the lowest part of the frame.
