I've been considering parting my truck out since I can't ever seen to get it to run good enough to sell. I'm not for sure doing this yet, but let me know if you're interested in anything and if I get enough interest, I will start the tear down.
10 bolt front and rear, unknown ratio- $150 for the pair
running 305- $200
working 700r4- $200
np208- $75?
I've also got some interior bits that are still in usable shape, and some of the front sheetmetal is still usable.
Any idea what an near empty k5 tub weighs so I can take that in for scrap?
Another one bites the dust:crazy:

So you can't get the truck running well enough to sell yet the axles, engine, transmission and transfercase are all in running/working order?

Not bashing ya' but what specifically isn't working that's holding up a sale?

If you change your mind about parting it pm me and I'll delete this thread. The Garage isn't the place to start throwing prices out for your stuff...it's too close to a for sale ad.

The last line you wrote tells me you've already made up your mind and are basically fishing around in the highest traffic forum regardless of the rules here.

The truck has a laundry list of minor defects. Cracked windshield, rear window is held up by 2x4s, no radio or speakers. Random disconnected wires everywhere. Steering column controls don't do a whole lot, but that may be because of the wiring problem. Rear floor is full of holes, front floor was patched with really thin sheetmetal. 305 had a burnt valve, but that will be fixed before it is sold.

That's all I can think of, but I'm sure there's more. All these things add up to a buyer trying to knock a good amount off the price, and at this point I'm thinking I can get more for it as parts. And I don't think spending the money to fix all this is worth it if I'm just going to sell it
