Glacier trip/Jeep Rescue

That's it, I'm looking for a transfer and some horse property in Alaska. Now which city has the prettiest girls?

well theres Horse Property out here in wasilla and palmer. and there are some good looking chicks up here depending on your type

Nice job on the rescue!

Looks like some cool country to wheel in. Looks a bit cold for my liking however lol.

yep thats my type too!! but seriously most off the chicks up here a good looking and it must be a law that they must like to do outdoor stuff

lol

"She's got a great...................................... personality..."

:haha:

Personally I feel that you're best off importing a woman to Alaska.

With the good looking ones, a lot of the time, you don't lose your chance, you lose your turn. Women up there have a lot of daddy issues.

If you do find one of the good ones up there, you feel like she's the only one due to the whole "There's plenty of fish in the sea, but you're alone...in the desert".

Yellowk20, how much land is there to wheel on up there? Im used to having to wheel on the small amount of public land down south or you have to be lucky enough to know someone who has land and willing to let you on it...Looks so badass up there!

Its virtually limitless, there are so many trails up here you could wheel your whole life up here and never see them all, not only that but the same trail can be completely different form one trip to the next.

Building a rig for Alaska is really unique ,

It has to be :

Reliable
Fuel Effiecient
Fairly tall
Aggressive tires
Soft suspension

do a x2 on the soft suspension. :D

Yeah those 1/2 full Mountain Dew cans are still in the bed of the Ford

I did! And out pulled a Dodge 5.9L Cummins tow rig doing it, LOL!

Speaking of buying a toy... Do you guys have anything kicking around up North I could pick up for an Alaska run? I've only got a few quotes back for shipping the Hoe, and it looks craaaaazy expensive, like 5k each way...

I really want to come up there and experience what you guys have to offer, but have an issue with being a passenger in a vehicle offroad... Not comfortable for me at all! Bit of a control thing, haha!

I'd just drive up and tow the Hoe on the trailer, but I don't have enough vacation time to pull that off...

Yeah we might have a spare rig

The white burb is getting setup to go for the eureka run this year as I have all the parts needed on the shelf ready to go.

My buggy project may be ready in time if so you could drive the burb or the buggy

Like yourself, I'd rather just buy something rather than risk wrecking someone else's rig!

I'm gonna continue poking around and see if I can't get my Tahoe up there yet at a more affordable price!
