Can anyone tell me how to remove the white glue that holds the trim on? I'm talking about the strip that runs all the way around near the bottom of the truck and on the tailgate. I pulled it off and have tried everything short of sanding to get that tape off.

When I took mine off, I used a razor blade to strip off the glue, just have to be real careful. Might try using plain old dental floss to cut it off kinda like a cheese slicer? Just a thought and then use Goo GOne to remove whatever is left over.

Super Clean by Castrol takes most anything off....I use it on the whole Blazer...heck it even takes off old wax...

Go to an auto paint supply store or try Eastwwod company . 3m makes a wheel for your drill that strips without hurting your paint .

A hairdryer and a clean rag work too. Or a heatgun set to a cool setting.
