does not appear to be a source anymore for these
Ingalls Engineering 26126 Camber Shims
As described here:

Is there something simular available or does anybody have any laying around?
I want to correct some negative camber the alignment shop could not.

thanks in advance.

I think I bought mine from Summit. Hard plastic and you order the degree needed. Works great.

You can still get the offset balljoint sleeve. I've never used them, but surely someone here has.

these look like they might work...
Mevotech MS50061 Camber Bushing

Anybody use them before and or know how & where they're installed?

i'm having trouble visualizing at the moment.

thanks in advance.

I went with a 1.5* shim on the passenger side and a .625* on the driver side. That’s what’s in my build thread but no other info or pictures. I don’t remember much since I did it 10 years ago.

It is a nylon disc that gets sandwiched between the knuckle and spindle and works great. They have them for D44,10b, D60. 10 years of abuse so I can vouch for them and would go that route before the ball joint thing. The shim is straight forward.

Now, I’ve looked on Summit and didn’t see them. Maybe my keywords were wrong but these shims are still out there and in many different degrees. As long as there are straight axles used up front, these shims will be sold. Highly recommend over the ball joint thing.

camber shims
spindle shims
knuckle shims
Something like that

The upper ball joint post fits into that adjuster sleeve. You use a special toothed socket to take the original adjuster out and replace it with that version. The difference is that the hole through the adjuster is no longer on center / concentric with the outer threads. That's what moves the ball joint over slightly and adjusts some combination of caster and camber, based on the direction it's oriented.

I assume this forces a compromise between the alignment setting you want and the ideal ballpoint preload.
I think its ac delco 45K28003
The site you link doesn't recognize the number you posted.

I have the metal spindle shims in mine and they came from AC Delco. I can't find the part number.

It looks like Moog k974-7 is still available, or hopefully something in the K974 series. You can go a little bigger than needed with the shim and turn it for less than max camber adjustment. The extra affects the toe, which is easily compensated with a regular toe adjustment. Presumably the smaller the shim angle, the less stress on the spindle bolts.

I found these, doesn't say what they're made of...

So I found out that
Ingalls Engineering Co., Inc. was bought out by Dorman and one of their related part numbers is:

Dorman AK901155PR

But, I cannot find anyone who lists that part number as available to order.
Same with the AC Delco Part number posted herein.

I ordered a couple of the moog one's posted herein, but it's a 8 week backorder and the pictures of the moog part do not look like it's tapered, indexable, clockable like the Ingalls one.

So I guess I'll have to wait for christmas and see what i get.

this thread has got me all fired up! next paycheck im adding camber shims to the shopping list again. never understood how eccentric balljoint cups were supposed to allow correct preload. i almost installed some last time i was under the front end, but i just dont think the 10 bolt components need extra help wearing or breaking faster??? i left the standard moog cups/adjusters in there and lied to myself saying i would be better about rotating tires this time...

Anybody have any more info keep posting! time to save the outside edges of my tires from excessive wear!

good video on subject. This is the guy who makes the adapter for the front brakes to use the 2006 Hummer 3 rotors and 4 piston calipers.

He's cool. I dealt with him. I have a set of those brackets. He's into old harleys too.

that is a good video on camber adjustment using the upper ball joint sleeve approach.
