Whats the difference? I'm looking at some GM 2.5's and wanted to know if there where any problems or major differences from the rockwells.

Be careful with those, a friend put some old GM style 2,5tons under his K5. He ended up having to use the 2.5 transfercase because with out it the tires turned opposite directions.
I am not sure if I am right here but I think the Rockwells are top loaders(drive flange on top of the axle) and the GM axles are not
go with the top loaders. easyer to find parts and get goodys for them.
