GM 3.0 I-6 Duramax

I like the idea but I'd hate to imagine what the sticker price would be even though I'm sure it will be less that a 3/4 ton

Related to this:

a) Will this be available for Suburban/Yukon?

b) Why do you think current Suburban is only available in 1/2 ton? :frown

Exactly why a used 3/4 ton will win every time. I had a hard time spending what I spent on my 2015 dmax.

I definitely rather but used but then there's always the risks bug I see what your saying. It's kinda the same reason it's cheaper to lease a 1/2 ton over a Colorado. There's more resale in a used 1/2 ton. I still wouldn't lease a truck but people do

Its insane what people want for used diesels with 100+k on them. Thats why I bought my 15 with a certified warranty etc thats good till 100K. The price break was about 46K. Anything over that and you got a decent truck. Anything below that had 100k, frame scale, and bubbling paint. lol

It could have something to do with the hitch integrated to the frame. The weird thing is that there is a 2500, but only available for fleets. It has much higher payload capacity and much lower towing capacity (3000lb?), so it's more for the secret service than family camping duty anyway.

Diesels that weren't flogged to death are few n far between so that's risky as well

Bwahaha

I said this about LS engines and almost got burned at the stake!

The neighbor at the old house had one. He had no complaints, but it was still low mileage. It was pretty quiet

I guess really with full size Gm trucks the only part I'd be worried about is the transmission. Especially at the 150k mark
