Is there a GM code to identify a cab and chassis vs SRW?
Looking at id'ing some 14ff diffs and which disc brake brackets to order.

Truck #1 is an M1028 that had a communications body on the back.
Truck #2 is a K30 utilities line truck that had a tool body on the back.
Both are single rears.
Thanks guys.

c&c rear is drw narrow as far as I know . the drums with be so close to the spring pack you will look at it and think how do you ever blead the brakes on them . :doah:

if its a srw axle then it should be just a good old srw setup then . will have lots of room between the drums and spring packs .

Ok, I'll go by that description. I'll head out and look at the trucks and maybe take a measurement or two, or some pics. Thanks.

pic be best . take them like your looking up the frame rails . so it shows the gap between the tire / drum / springs .
