I'm looking for brackets that will replace the ford double piston caliper...
with a d44 caliper.

I'm looking for any info...

Thanks.

Why I have the same, is it hard to find parts? or are you just changing them for no real reason. I have yet to drive mine so thats why I ask.

A buddy of mine wants to run 4"bs/15" wheels...
(without grinding the caliper to nothing)
He doesn't want to go wider and run 2 1/2 bs wheels...
he's wide enough as it is..

Also...he just doesn't need that much braking.

So...since I'm helping him...
I'm looking for some economical solutions..

What about using some GM caliper brackets? Weld up the holes and redrill them for the Ford spindle pattern(if different).. Not sure if the caliper to rotor distance is the same or not though.

If he's interested, I have some D44 and 10 bolt GM knuckles he could use to swap to Chevy stuff. Only bad thing is I dont have a pass side flattop...
