have an 07 classic with 50k on it.

sent it in to figure out why i was running so rich figuring it was under warranty

got the truck back, the computer was saying the gas had 47% achohol in it when it only had 10% they adjusted the fuel trim and it runs fine now.


they charged me for the diagnostics and trimming the fuel

since its powertrain shouldnt the warranty cover it?

was gonna go back in the morning but was gonna ask yall first.

its hard to say if the dealer will warrenty it, our shop would make customers pay for work that could have been warrentyed but wasent. if your a good repeat customer they will usually warrenty some stuff thats out of warrenty but still comes down to the dealer it self.

sounds like a computer issue
some electrical stuff isn't covered under a powertrain warranty. But I thought GM did bumper to bumper for 60k now?
had an egr motor that was 100 miles out of warranty, I looked at them funny and was like "come on, u sh1ting me right"? But they covered it after the manager said yes. Since then, they receive my GM vehicles from now on.

My 07 was only 36 months bumper top bumper. I think your right about the electrical not being included in the power train warranty.

Is your truck a flex fuel vehicle.

yeah they told me its not covered cause its electrical.
