gm gov lok anybody know anything??

i had recently blown my gov lok in my 10 bolt rear, and i need to know how to remove the spider gears without wrecking anything, and i dont want to start now! any body have any advice,

Mine were easy to remove . We removed cover , watched metal pieces fall out , bang and grinded on the part that lodged itself in there , watched more pieces fall out . Grabbed axles and removed . Bought new whole axle from brake to brake

I do have a gov loc in the garage that isn't boke yet , but its not going in any axle I own

I have a gov-loc in my garage also but it is for a 14FF .
