I found these GM micro fish parts catalogs on line. Sorry 1978 is earliest.

everyday I'm falling in love with CK5 and my own K5 :wink1:.. my K5 needs some restoration job and that will take time.. I can post some pics at the mean time but nothing is so special about my rig to see :dunno:

Oh my, that brings teh seckseh.

I'll be posting these to a new section on the Brochures page as soon as I figure out where.

And VIN decoding from the horse's mouth ... I'll have to double-check my VIN decoder script for those year as well.

Well we all started out some where. This is just one big family tied together by our love for these trucks. I have a feeling you will fit in just fine.:D Yes there is it is a brother to our trucks! We love seeing other trucks from around the world and how they are similar and different from ours.

Check out this one from down under! http://www.chevroletblazerk5.com/2008/04/newly-added-1979-right-hand-drive.html

I was one step away from buying a Jeep Cherokee when I found this lovely truck and I change lane

I go off roading on sand and it drives great especially after doing some maintenance.

my plan is to have 15x10 wheels with 33x12.5x15 tires, 3" lift, Magnaflow muffler with some custom made exhaust, maybe a long tube headers, and of course a good paint job (might use some suggestion about what color to go with). interior will be restored too. hope you like my ride, and my plans :o

Dude that is a nice and clean truck! Many a person here would love to have it! You have a great platform there to build off of. Two thumbs up.

The rear deflector is different from we are used to seeing!

thanks man,

oh, and that deflector will definitely go off cause I really don't like it

You may find that you want it. Many folks report that the rear deflector keeps dirt (and sand!) off the back window, and also keeps fumes out of the back if the window is down.

Personally, I don't know -- my truck has no top :haha:

if that is the case, I might find another deflector, the aluminum brushed one. it looks better and more classic.

and if the wither is nice, who needs the top??:D

Thought I would bring this back for the spring work season!
