I Finally got that darn pinion nut off and pulled the yoke. It looks as if there is a worn groove now where the seal rides against, so it'd be best for me to install a new yoke along with the new seal. Does anyone know the GM part # offhand?? Thanks in advance...

I would take the yoke to a truck parts shop, and have them find the Spicer yoke. It will be the same as the factory part, but cheaper. Otherwise, call the guys at Nationwide parts. http://www.nationwideparts.com

Please tell us how you were able to get the nut off !
Did it look like someone put Locktide(Red) on it ?
If so make sure you follow there lead and do it again( for all you that recommend Locktide where it don't belong)
This is why opinions will get you in trouble.
Have fun
