I found a page I was looking for here, the part #'s have a ** as the first two digits...

how do I fgure out what they are..?:dunno:

Maybe try an put it in your cart to buy and see if the whole number pops up. Or go to The hardware store as it gives what dims the bolt is.

tried the cart thing, no go..

I was looking up TPI part #s to see if they could still be found

got those...thanks :waytogo:

I was looking for the crankcase breather hose and the u-shaped heater hose for the throttle body

I can find them on flea bay but they're expensive...

I was wondering if I could find them cheaper using the part #s...

Try one of the typical GM part number prefixes of “11”, “12” or “15” in front of the number they list and see what the description pulls up. That I what I do when I used GMPartsgiant.

Just for fun, I went to Rockauto and entered the part numbers with the two **s into their part number search box.
Most of the time they came back with the full part number.

The two *s seem to be numbers from 10 to 19 or so, no idea what the second digit means.
Actually, maybe I do. I just realized that it seems to be some category indicator.

"10" is a gasket. "12" is an ignition coil, so maybe its electrical.

Have not gotten any farther than that.

There a reason to run the TB heater? I've not run one (ever) and while it doesn't get cold up here, has never iced up, which is apparently the only reason for these types of heaters.

That breather hose was a bear when I was looking around for one nearly 10 years ago. You find it yet? May have the part number in an email somewhere from when I bought it. Any other parts you need numbers for, let me know. When I did my swap had to buy a few things, might have the number saved somewhere.
