GMC Cab to Blazer Frame

I have a 1973 GMC jimmy frame and cab. The Frame is shot with rust and nasty welds from the previous owner. But the cab is saveable and i want to use it.
I also have (had) a 1979 blazer that caught on fire. I still have it. The cab is all charred and warped. It may be saveable. But heres my question.
Can the 1979 blazer Frame fit the 1973 GMC jimmy cab?

You should have no problem fitting the 73 Jimmy on the 79 frame.
The other way around is a little more involved.
I believe up to 80 the mounts are the same.
