GMC concept

answer to the raptor eh???? cant wait for the side by side testing. seeing as the chevy just trounced the ford in a diesel power magazine towing competition.

if only they would make it with a manual as an option.

I would buy it. I like it. Sad, but it's like they took all the cool things of the power wagon and the raptor and made one truck. Maybe GM could get a little more creative!

I still like it though.

thay still dont listen and give us what the hell be have been askin for and modifyin to get the way we want.

were is the dam solid axle option in these trucks.

I like it. I would have to wait till it was about 10 years old before I could afford it though..

Why do all newer trucks have receding bumper lines?

Its a step in the right direction but Im guessing it will not come as a production model.

Guess I just dont have faith in anything NEW.

I like it!!! :thumb:
I'd buy it for a tow rig/mall crawler!!!
Not that I have the $50k it'll probably cost though!!! :doah:
If the production truck is exactly like the concept, I'd consider it to replace my current Dmax when that time comes (many years from now).

Looks pretty mean :thumb: I'm interested in how it compares against the raptor though. It looks incredible though, can't wait for full specs though. The Power Wagon has a straight axle? Thats pretty cool.

its just a reshined show truck from around 2001 with up dated looks.it never will be put into production.

As said before If there was a solid axle option and manual trans that would be awesome. Maybe there is hope for a retro K5:bow:

I agree, I don`t think it will see production. As much as we all want a solid axle, we know that won`t happen. I`m pretty sure they did away with the manual trans as well.

Beat me to it....

And honestly anyone that thinks theyre gonna call anything not solid front axle an "offroad specialty package" is retarded and needs to learn what vehicles actually need to do offroad. The power wagon is the only real fullsize wheel from the factory. The raptor is suppose to be a desert truck, its IFS is understandable but its by no means powerwagon competition.

Looks slick, I also doubt it will make it to market, I'm gonna have to check it out at the Chicago auto show in a couple weeks!

No solid axle, no manual trans is why I drive a Furd... (and I cant afford a new truck)

I do not think this will go into production as said, but they did make the Typhoon and Cyclone.. but that was in another life.. or seams like it...lol

Trophy truck = IFS... its all im sayin.

but yes, for rigs that are gonna see rick crawlin and 44in tires, solid axles are the way to go. :waytogo:
