I was wondering if the front doors off of an 86 GMC Crew Cab would fit on my 89 K5?

I am taking just about anything off of my old GMC that I might be able to use on my K5 before I scrap GMC.

I was thinking stuff like the blower motor, AC stuff, oil cooler, battery cables, overflow tank, winshield washer tank, hoses, radiator, etc would be good to keep just in case I need them in the future. I try not to be a pack rat, but...I fail. :)

Oh, what about the hood? Mine is okay but a tad bent. Someday I will paint it (cheap paint job) and I will want to replace the hood.

I know I can measure but to have confirmation from those who might know would be nice.

Yep, body stuff is the same .:D. The under hood and electrical stuff can and does change here and there.

Yup, a lot of the same parts. Under the hood most of the parts you asked about are, or can be the same, depends on the set up.

Overflow tank specifically I have recent experience with. The answer is maybe. My parts truck had the overflow on the passenger fender, my 84 cucv had the tank mounted on the core support to the side of the radiator (was also a diesel) I mounted the fender-mounted overflow tank from the parts rig on my cucv, holes don't like up, and there's some bumps/dips to conform to the bottom of the overflow, also didn't work out. The inner fender well has a slightly different shape where it would mount.

I drilled holes and mounted it there anyway. :thumb:
