There is an add in the newspaper for a 1981 k3500 crew cab with a propaned small block (350?) and a 4-spd tranny. What axles and transfercase would this have? It's in for $1000 OBO...more than I have, but just curious.

If it is a SRW it will have a D60 & 14FF
If it is a DRW fleetside it will have a bud D60 and a HD70
If it is a cab Chassis the rear could be a 14FF or a HD70 and the front a D60
Prime pickens in any combo for stout axles !
Case will be a 205 fixed rear yoke.

What is a fleetside? How do I know if it is a cab chassis (what is it)?
