dose anyone know if factory floor pan #15571692 is still avail. or did you guys buy them all?

i cant believe you found that on ebay for me that guy is only an hour away from me! now i just have to find a way to get in touch with him, ebay wont give me his email b/c the bid is over. thanks for your help i never would have found that as badley as i needed it, i really appreaciate your help!!

Just click on his name on the auction page (davechev) and on the page that opens up, left side, under where his picture could be, is "contact member". Easy as that.

I'd go that route though, just in case he ISN'T a member, and is planning on getting rid of it soon.

I thought someone on here even had one of these up for sale not too long ago, maybe it was the same person.:)

thanks for the lead i cant pm him so i email him asking if hes the guy. im already registered here how come i cant acess everything do i have to be a member?

You are doing something wrong then, as I can do exactly as I mention.

You probably have to be registered with ebay to contact him after an auction. It's free.

i know exactly what your refering too, i am registered w/ ebay it just wont let me contact him....? ive got a bump in my pants just looking at it and i cant seem to get in contact w/ the seller

Sorry, can't help you further, you might try contacting ebay then I guess, or try contacting him on another auction of his if there are any ongoing.

All I ever do is search ebay by the part number, in this case the one posted. Sometimes helps to make sure after your initial search, you select "search description".

I haven't spent a ton of time on Ebay the last few years, but when searching part numbers or specific words, the first search only looks at the title of the auction. After that you can choose to select the description, so you can be sure you dont miss it.

GM part numbers also tend to be long enough that a google search with only that number will bring results. If too many, narrow by adding "gm", "delco", "(gm part name from catalog)", etc.

dyeager535 - We both have been on ck5 for a long time. I had another account here prior to 2001 but had lost the password. Back then in the early 2000's the dealers still had the floor pans. I read an old post here where someone got one from gmparts direct for under $400. I don't know what shipping would have been. It probably was under a $700 part shipped. Times have changed with the parts now drying up. Also where does 20 years go. Crazy how time goes by so fast. Back then I thought $400 bucks for a floor pan was crazy money.

Yes, I used to think OEM parts were a ripoff. Now I'll pay a premium for 20 year old seals.:surepal:

I have a stash of OEM parts from over the years. I found for $200 a set of NOS GM 73-78 fenders still in the box coated in dust. I'm glad I got those. I passed on a set of NOS GM rear quarters for $800. That was a mistake.
