GMT400 bed dimensions

Does anyone know what the bed dimensions are on the GMT400 trucks? I'm looking at caps to fit a 73-87 size bed and there are a few for sale for 88-98 trucks. All the dimensions I can find online say 71x99 which would work but I thought the GMT400 beds had a taper. If anyone knows for sure or has a bed they could measure that would be great.

The beds tapper in to the rear on 88-up trucks . I have a 88-up cap on a square bed now and its ok. But i use it as a trailer so not everyday thing . I can post pics in a bit .

88-up tapper 2" in to the back 64" inside lip to lip down to 62" . And square like in my pics is around 67" wide . It will work but not sure what your intended use is .
