Have opportunity to get most any part off of Hwy Patrol Tahoe, should I get the brakes and spindles off the front? Don't know if there is enough difference to warrant the change? Anyone done it ? Will cost $300 plus time and new fluid and hoses.
Just realized I didn't say what I am working on, 2008 Suburban LTZ 4x4 1500 22" rims.

Ok have 22" rims and 35" tires is part of the reason for wanting to upgrade the brakes would I be better off to use a different approach? Maybe aftermarket big brake kit? If so which one is the best bang for the buck? Don't need carbon carbon race brakes but do want to stop this heavy Chevy suburban with 6 people and all our crap in it, so it probably weighs 10k pounds.

I had good luck with Powerstop replacement stuff. Just the basic kits with ceramic pads were all I used but they offer increased performance stuff too.

Well looks like I am going to see what all is different and the same. Just lost the CV joints on both sides and the brakes on the passenger side front are dragging now. BTW the $300 is everything from frame out. Figure at 200,000 miles it is time to start rebuilding it.
