goin from 700r4 to th350??

do i need to change any of the shifter linkages?
what about the kickdown cable plate that bolts under the carb?thx

My linkages all bolted up as did the TV cable mount. The only things I had to change was my x-member. PM me if ya need anything else I just finished the swap a few months back. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I think you'll just have to drill new holes for the crossmember.

Yep I got rid of the 700 cause it was almost dead got a new 350, and I couldn't remeber the last time I used OD anyway so /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

edit: plus when/if this tranny explodes I can rebuild it twice for the price of one 700 /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif
