I have a TH350 torque converter and shifter but I am going to a TH400 /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif. So will the TC and sifter linkage work or do I have to get another TC and buy a floor shifter?

A TH350 converter will work fine in a TH400, but it will give slightly higher stall than the TH400 converter. Maybe a few hundred RPM. The stock shifter will work fine. Sometimes it helps to have the offset shifter arm bolted on the trans, but you don't need it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I thought the kick down was different between the 350 and 400. With the 350 being mechanical and the 400 electric. But I could be mistaken.
