why not just graph the whole front clip over? cut the front in the middle of the 2nd body mount and piece it there. like how Muddin4Fun did her early chevy(gmc?)

You might try posing this question over on www.67-72chevytrucks.com . There are a few guys over there that have done the 4X4 to 2wd swap (but why? /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif). /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

yes you can bolt entire suspension cradle from a 2wd pickup burb blazer under the rig from a 71-87 parts rig and you will need the rad support mounting frame brackets pair from a 2wd also, cut the rivets ot swap them. also you will need to egg out a couple of the holes in frsme rails to get all the bolts to line up when bolting the 2wd cradle up to the 4x4 frame and will have to change way top of shocks mount, 2wd mount directly to frame without brascket brace like on 4x4

if you are going with auto tranny then you must find a 63-72 auto trans 2wd crossmember if your rig is first gen

i grew up on first gen trucks CST era all six years and had the most posts on the 67-72 forum at 10k, a couple years ago, i basically retired already but i still know billions of info all about these trucks have torn apart and done tons of them in my day, ever nut bolt and clip

also they now make aftermarket 2wd 6 lug front rotors now so that ou can keep 6 lug all around

good luck
