going price for a good th400??

for a friends k30 35k on it. out a a 84 k30. $450

i was thinking thats a ok price for a bolt up and go th400. he thinks its to much.

I'd sell him one for $250...hard sell to get much more than that. Figure a bench rebuild at a shop only costs ~ $500. They are really simple units to work on.

I paid $600 for my Th400 to be rebuilt last time. Stock build with shift kit, cash and carry for $600.

i wonder if they are different prices all over, i just had a my th400 built last year, heavy sprag, heavy everything, shift kit, $445 still working great

just like i hear micky d's payin $10-15hr in LA, where as here they get minimum wage....just like my gas broke the $3.50/gal on it way down today @$3.45/gal:D and alot of peeps still payin' $4/gal or more:crazy:
