going to a th400 will my 205 t-case work

I am planning on swaping out my th350 for a th400. I was wondering if my 205 t-case that is connected to my th350 work, or will I also need to buy another 205? I just had the 205 rebuilt last summer so I dont really want to buy another one unless I have to.

Advance Adapters have two kits to mate a th400 to NP205 that came with the th350. One kit require to rebuild the transmission with a new output shaft. The other kit converts the front input of the tranfer case with the 32 spline input. Both come with a steel adapter to change the bolt patten. The latter kit is the stronger kit, but the case have to be machined for a larger bearing. Both kits are pricey

The splines are different, it would be easier to find a 205 that came off a th400
