Going topless and loving it!

I finally got the wheel bearings done on my truck, drove it out to the lake last weekend and went topless for the first time! My 8 yr old daughter loved it.

Those 35's look nice, but they do look close in the front when turning. I'm still debating on trying to go bigger than 33's.

March to November

I pretty much live in a high mountain desert and take the top off mid March and put it back after Halloween. I'm miserable about half a dozen days but it'smy daily driver and I love driving the Jimmy it makes me smile after all the long hard days at work.

Having the top off all the time has kinda trashed the interior and so I have all new stuff on the way. That and I get a sunburn on my bald head...

Did you vaccuum the interior before heading out to the highway that first time....or did you learn the hard way like I did??

It's amazing how much dirt can be packed into two eyeballs at 55MPH.

I had it all clean and polished up, but not for that reason. I wouldn't have thought of that -- good to know.

I bought a temporary garage at Costco and have it stored inside at the lake -- hopefully the interior will stay nice that way.

I got a Besttop soft top from the guy I bought it from, but I haven't tried to install it yet. I heard they're not that great -- but I almost got caught at the beach in a thunderstorm and figure I better get it on for a back-up plan.
