bought i ton front-rear from laketex(thanks bryan) i have seen someone mention difference in lift height vs a dana44. do you gain 1 inch? also how about front driveline length, does the 60 have a longer section where the pinion is? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Yes, you gain a little lift... not much. You will also either need to shorten the front driveline or push the front axle forward, like w/ 52's or zero rates or something.

The dana 60 gives aprox 3/4 of an inch of lift. The pinion does stick out a bit more. Depending on how much lift you have, you may or may not need mod the front driveshaft. I have 6 inch front springs and didn't do anything to my front shaft. Haven't had a problem with it yet anyways.
