I think it might be time to step up to a better way to bend thick metal. I can do most of the other stuff in my shop, but I have no way to bend anything thicker than sheetmetal. I'm wanting to bend 1/4-3/8" plate.

Thinking about a Harbor Freight 20-ton shop press and then the Northern Tool press brake add-on.

The press brake is $330 and the HF press is $200. Northern has a press for $340, but I figure with a 20% coupon I can get the HF one for $160 and I have some friends with the HF press and they love it.

What do you guys think?
