I got on the Snap-On Truck Payed My Weekly Bill and Got Back Off...Heck I even checked out the sales and still turned it now.

Of course its not really hard to turn down $275.00 Swivel sockets...oh way but they were $60 off. I swear he forgets I dont turn wrenchs every day for a living.

Either way Lets see If I can make it two weeks in a row.

Anyone else get Chrome Fever when they get on those trucks?

I used too, when I did it for a living. Now the Government buys everything for me.
I kept buying till I had everything I thought I would need to work independently of anyone else. 55K later, I got a home equity loan and paid it off, then opened my own shop for a while.
It felt good to pay off the tool man, He still warranties my stuff, if I go find him.

Ive got just about everything a shade tree mechanic would need minus a few specialty things(pulley pullers, torque wrench, etc.)

Not counting Metric Stuff...which I just have cheap tools for. Although I dont do awhole lot a fixing on newer stuff.

Last Monday my Snap-On account went from $78 to $560, and all I meant to do was pay my $78 and be done for a while.:doah:

i just payed off my tool bill yesterday with the snap on guy... next week might be a different story, that truck always has something i WANT not something i NEED

I want a set of the super short wrenches in standard and metric up to an inch. I don't want the bill to go with them.....
George

i got 7/16 to 3/4 stubbys and that was 117 on sale...have fun with that bill

I am glad I don't have a tool truck around me. I would be in debt to my ears. I spend a decent amount on tools as it is but they are mostly for work and work pays for many of them. I have alot of personal tools though too for a shadetree and I am aquiring more and more as I get into bigger projects.

One of my favorite tools I have now is my GearWrench Stubby Wrenches. They are kick arse. They aren't Snappy or Mac but they still kick arse for what I use them for.

I also love my Mac Microtooth ratchet set I got a few months ago.

The Mac guy got me today for $110 for a long punch set. I only owed him 32 bucks too....
George.
But cornwall and snap-on are both paid off.

My truck account is paid off. But Snap on credit keeps getting $100 a week. My wife loves that:mad:

if we sold what you needed, we'd have milk, water, bread, shingles and plywood on the trucks to keep you fed and a roof over your head

its supposed to work that way lol
