Good deal? 91 V2500 or 90 V2500 Burb

If it has been converted, the kits come with a sticker. The inlet where the freon is put into the system should also have a refitted opening (plastic cap to fit the 134 fitting). Other than that, I cannot tell you how to tell the difference without taking it to a shop.

The re-fit, compressor and stuff for mine was about $300 and i did it myself. Thats when R-134 was about $2.50/can.

Thanks cbbr, that helps. The burb I have now has been converted, so I'll find the 134 plastic cap fitting on it, then I'll know what to look for on the '91. Anything to do with A/C is pricey. I had to have the compressor replaced on my '87 and recharged with 134, and it was over $270 in parts alone. I'm hoping the '91 just needs recharged and has already been converted, but that's probably a pipe dream.

Bought the '91 V2500 Burb for $3K. Everything looks and runs good. I'll post up pics on Monday when we get back home. Thanks to everyone for all the help and advice.
