Is $500 shipped for 5.13 Yukon "thick" 14 bolt gears, Detroit, and a setup kit a good deal? Everything is NIB. Do you guys think that this will be too much gear for my K5 w/stock TBI 350/ B&M built 700R4/NP 208 with planned on 38's or 39.5's?

Will also have a 60 in the front. From what I can tell it will put me around 2300 RPM's @ 70 mph, did I figure right? Also this is not a DD, just for running about and thrashing.

Ok, one more question here, do you guys think the 700R4 will handle up to a 203/205 doubler later on? I have heard issues of guys cracking there cases. Do I have enough driveline length for this, plan on 52/56" spring swap.

Came over from the dark side of Jeeping so this is a new venture.

Thanks

I have 5.13's in my 14ff but i'm only running 35's. Great for launching and off the line power and not too bad on the freeway. But I plan on running 38's as soon as my bfg's go bald.

As for the 700 and the doubler i'm not sure, your best bet is to run a search and see what you come up with.

Yes, that sounds like a good deal. With 38+" tires and a 700R4 5.13 gears should be the only option IMO.

Hey thanks for the thumbs up. Now what about running the doubler, any driveshaft issues? I searched and did not really come up with anything.
