good deal on 14 bolt?

I think I paid $100 or $150 for my 14BFF -- and that's a *full* floater, the big momma.

Since this one is a 6-lug, it's out of a newer ('92+) truck, so it'll need the perches and the shock mounts moved... so that's a lot of $$, IMO.

The 14SF axle was had in many trucks and burbs prior to 1992.

To the OP i would not pay 350.00 for that axle. IMO it's only worth 150.00 tops but then again i guess it depends where you're from and how readily available they are where you live.

i paid $100. wouldnt do more than $200 tops unless it had upgrades such as locker, lower gears, axle shaft upgrades, disk brakes...so on

Around here $350 would be a good price if it is out of a newer 4 wheel drive. The wide lug 14B SF are hard to come by in this area.

From what I've seen the SF14 bolt's do bring a little bit more money because they aren't dime a dozen like the 8 lug FF version. That being said the craigslist ad says it has a "factory locker" in it (assuming a G80) so I would top out at about $250 assuming it was in good shape.

down here in FL i cant find one anywhere....i've been looking for a buddies truck. i honestly would give 350 for that....but i have alot of hookups and know quite a few people down here, and NOBODY has one. haha.... those are great for 1/2 ton guys who wanna keep their wheel's..

If it`s a 6 lug it is 88 & up new body style. A good upgrade for a 1/2 6 lug truck, or Tahoe, but I wouldn`t buy it for one of these trucks. I don`t know if the Gov bomb helps it any. It is a pretty hard to find rear if you can use it.

well i read an article in 4 wheel drive and off road and they say that these rearends are a drop in swap! and i would like to stick with the six lug pattern but im in no hurry to buy one just lookin around! thanks for the imput!

Umm, do some searching here. There are LOTS of different kinds of 14 bolts, many of which won't bolt up to your truck. A 14 bolt out of a 73-87/91 3/4-ton 4WD would be a drop in ... but that would be an eight lug, either full or semi-float.
