Good deal on 40" LTB's?

What would y'all consider a good price for 4 brand new, never been mounted, 40x16x16 LTB's without a rim?

Yes, they are bias only. A guy is asking $1200, but I'm going to try and talk him down. I don't want to low ball him and not be able to get him down at all.
