Good deal on seats

wow thats a killer deal, if only they had the high back black one in stock, I'd definately spring for it.

I have a Tucker Sno Cat project and I'm looking to replace the factory seats. These might be the ticket.

I'm curious if you've mounted them in the vehicle and sat in them. Also, without being nosey, I'm curious as to your size. I'm almost 6'4" and what is comfortable for someone who is 5'6" may not be for a six footer.

A buddy of mine bought a set of these...They are EXACTLY like my PRP's just a differant stiched logo on the front. Great seats, I'm just shy of 6 foot and quite chubby:wink1: and these seats fit nice:D

I'm 6' 250 and they fit good, of course my goal is to get back down to 200 so they will fit great. I haven't mounted them but set them on the cage and sat in them many times.
here is a thread on pirate, i went through the thread and didn't see any negative remarks about them, and you would find them there if there was any. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=775557

Thanks for the response. The Tucker has pretty minimal suspension travel, so the seat needs to be somewhat soft to take up some of the bumps.

Thanks for the response and the link.

I've been considering some used seats from an Acura Integra as well. The thing is I need four (four-door Sno Cat) and I want them to be nice, not worn out. Buying these would eliminate the wear issues.

I bought a set of these for my s10 project and they are nice! Comfortable and a good price. Cant ask for more than that.

Wow, subscribed for future reference. Anybody tried the bench?

Dean, nice score on the seats. Hope you get to use them soon.

BGKYK5, if you are asking about a bench for the rear here is my opinion. I have some nice PRP's and a custom PRP bench in the back. If I did it all over again I would have had buckets for the rear rather than the bench. IMO, the buckets are more comfortable than the bench and more versitile too. Those prices are about 40% less than my PRP's too.

I'd like to be able to cram three small kiddos back there if possible though. Looks like that bench only has slots for two seatbelts.

i think the bench seat he is offering is for side by side, rhino deal. The guy is super cool to deal with and will answer any questions. I picked them up so I didnt have to pay shipping :D

I originally wanted to run buckets in the back too, I first bought Corbeau suspension seats for my truck, then my bud said your not going to like climbing in and out of your lifted truck with the high bolstering those seats have. I thought about it and climbed in and out a few times and thought yeah, he was right. So I though I would buy the Mastercraft Rubicon seats which have the lower bolstering, which I did and move the Corbeau's in the back. Well my wheel wells are widened so the buckets would not fit between them.

Didn't want to use them in my other trucks so I sold them. Made money on them actually. So I went with a custom width bench for the rear. I only have one child so I don't think the bench will be an issue, but yes I would have prefered two buckets. The high back head rest does block your vision, but of course is safer for anyone riding in the back. My son is still below the top of the seat. I didn't get a bench with head rests. I would actually like to try the adjustable back suspension seats, I like options. These seats Yobtaf posted up are a KILLER smokin deal as far as cost goes for a suspension seat. Suspension seats from big brand name companies are insanely over priced IMHO.

They use like .065 wall tube to make the frames which is cheap as hell to buy in bulk like thay all do. Same with materials to make the seats. It's the American way though. 1000% profit if people are willing to pay it. Nice to see someone building AFFORDABLE seats.

these dont have really high sides so thats another reason I went with these. I know what your saying, I have been in trucks with high sides and it sucks to get in and out.

Hmm I may get the Tan ones with head rest since you fit well

I'm 6'2 200 so I should pretty well

It looks like head rest seats are a little taller

As much as I like my PRP's I wish I would have gotten the ones with the removable headrests rather than the built in ones.

I like the look of the removable headrests better. Also, more importantly, When is sit in my seat my almost entire head is above the headrest part of the seat. the adjustable ones IMO give more height adjustment.
