Good Deal???

Well it seems like EVERY truck for sale has "less than 1000 miles on NEW transmission". Instead of no pics it didn't happen, no receipt it didn't happen!

Sounds like it needs HELP "White exterior. Red & camo interior, needs a little work" like handy man's dream. :doah:

new shocks
new radiator (not installed, still in box)
new power steering gear box & lines
new water pump and belts
new Edelbrock Carb
NEW transmission

Sounds like based on their wording it has been rode hard and abused. Now if they were corrections or upgrade but these are questions you need to ask. I paid under $2,000 for my 1987 three years ago and it was from a SALT free area.

Since your not there I would try to get pics and have some one close check it out. Me I would walk away nice a slowly.

After reading my post it sounds like it had front end damage I wonder what the front fenders and hood look like. If he sends pics get frame pics of front area too.

Vehicles that come with new parts not installed ... means the last guy got tired of fixing it, so god only knows what else is broke.

New parts or not, out here a truck like that would get maybe a grand, grand and a half tops.

Thanks for all the help! I have decided not to go with this one. Took a look and not really what i wanted. Too much for a project anyways. Was planning on gettin a crate motor and doin a tranny swap anyway so i think i will keep shoppin!

Definately keep shopping.
I just bought my second Blazer. '85 with a new crate 305 with only 17k on it and rebuilt transmission. Only downside is dented fender and that entire thing is rhino lined inside and out.
I only paid $1000
