I am just looking for some opinions on the flex that I have, it does have a little more than what is shown but my cherry picker didnt want to go any higher. I also want to cut the clamps on my rear 63s so they can droop more. Good idea? What would you guys reccomend to get more flex?

um id be a lil scared to do that with that picker:eek1: but looks good though man!

un-clamping springs is fine... but having the two longest springs connected somehow (military wrap or some kind of clamp) is a good idea. Otherwise it's probably only a matter of time before you snap a main leaf. not good! Flex looks good to me...

with the 63's looks like you kept the wheel pretty close to the center of the wheel well, howd you do that?

also, what are you doing for a gas tank? i thought i read somewhere that with 63's it screwes with your gas tank, not 100% tho. the 63"s are a swap im thinkin about.

probably hard for a leaf spring to "screw" with a gas tank thats sitting in the bed. :thumb:

Nice lookin rig! Flexes well, too. Don't mean to hijack, but whats the specs on the suspension setup it has and how much total lift does it have?

Thanks for the compliments. I has 52s in the front and aftermarket 63s in the rear. The 63s have an extra leaf but there softer. It has about 4-5" of lift. It is sitting on 39.5x18 boggers.

OK, thanks for the info.

Your trucks looking good man. I would suggest changing some of your shackle angles and lengths. Something is limting your trucks flex in back- my guess is your tire is hitting the inner fender well on compression limiting the droop you are getting on the opposite side. It's hard to tell in the pic but your front shackle looks like it's at about the stock angle. If that's the case, move it up and see how that helps. While your flex is good, I think you could get another foot off the ground with some tweaking. When I first finished up with my truck it flexed horribly. With the right spring and shackle location/lengths nearly perfected, it's now putting down 1300 plus on a 20* ramp.

Why are those zerorate above the springs and not below them????

gotcha  a few questions, what is the length from the front rear spring mount hole to the hole in the shackle flip (center to center measurement) and what is your rear schakle length, 7.5"? Thanks man!
