yes ut us a good idea but i found rust and a bunch of glue that i had to fix/remove before i rolled on the rhino,
remember if you do the rhino thing prep isthe key to getting good/lasting results so don't jump the gun and just roll it on, and keep it off of you that stuff stuck to my hands and arms for 2 weeks!

yeah, that's cool....it will insulate the cab from the exhaust and engine heat.
I used undercoating on mine then replaced the carpet....what a difference in temp.

if you do it make shure you put it on thick i put it in my 86 and i it was not thick enough so the 4 speed boot and the 4X4 box did not sit flush to the floor so we ended up buying sound deadener and that black mat to go on top and my truck is still loud.
