I've got a '79 Jimmy, and the guy who had the truck before me put on some incredibly cheap/flimsy mirrors. I'd like to get some stock ones, but the salvage places here are all stripped. Where are you guys finding parts like this online/mail order? Thanks for any info.

I got some stainless ones for my crew cab from LMC, nice quality & good fit. They are about 2 years old now and still look new.

Make sure to get stainless ones, not ones that are chrome plated. i have seen the ones that are chrome plated rust extremely fast. within a few months fast.

That is good advice. I never really consider rust because we don't have salt, snow or any of the 'Northeast' rust makers.

Great advice guys. Thanks. I'll check LMC and the other places. Can't wait to get these cheap things off. They shake so much I can't see anything behind me.

well i bought chrome ones from LMC and the suck :eek1:  they are really loose and i have the bolts all the way in and the will fold in while im driving down the highway so im not happy

I have seen the chrome ones rust in nc during summer. my buddy got them for his k10 and they were rusted a few months later. i bought the ss ones a few years ago and there great.
