What is a fair price for a rust-free K5? I don't care if it's mechanically sound so long as the body and frame are in good shape.

Whatever you're willing to pay for it...but first you have to find such a K5 in the first place. Often that is harder than 'affording' it. Generally the rust free straight K5's that are out there are also in excellent shape mechanically.
