Check out what the pros use. Such as wrecker drivers. The only one I ever dealt with was Lodar. https://lodar.com/
They claim to have about a 200 ft range, and seem to be quite rugged.
For a simple in/out function electric winch, all you would need would be a two button system with no master. Not sure what the amp draw on a winch solenoid would be, but the regular size receiver will handle about 15 amps.
There should be several folks here who buy that sort of thing and would have links to tow suppliers.
