Good Radio or not?

I don't know if any of you have heard of a Tristar brand radio? I have one, and it has all of the bells and whistles. It has the sidebands and everything. I was wondering what to do about the little antenna warning light that always comes on when i key the mic?

Have you verified that your SWR is set correctly? If not you'll want to do that. It's basically tuning the antenna so it resonates properly so you don't get a lot of signal being reflected back into radio... Excessively high SWR ratio is not good for the radio and causes you to lose efficiency...

I agree with Sandman, those warning lights come on when the SWR's are getting high. Best have them check befor you blow a final or something.
